Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

"Star Trek: Generations" was the first time Ronald D. Moore showed the public what he could do when he wasn't insulated inside of the "Star Trek Staff Writer's Womb." The public learned quickly that Ronald D. Moore's greatest weakness is being a solo writer. The RIDICULOUS script Ronald D. Moore came up with for "Star Trek: Generations" showcased all of his professional shortcomings full tilt. The ridiculous manner in which he bumped off Captain Kirk, YET ANOTHER "Temporal Anomaly" threatening the "Star Trek" universe, TECHNO-BABBLE up the ass, a villain as forgettable as anything Rick Berman came up with.
If anything is painfully apparent in the way Ronald D. Moore produces and writes, it is the lack of pride he takes in his work. Ronald D. Moore CRAPS OUT PRODUCT....."Assemble Line Fashion"......His television series which STOLE the title "Battlestar Galactica" is STEREOTYPICAL Ronald D. Moore at the most disgusting level. Ronald D. Moore DOESN'T CREATE. He PLUGS IN FORMULAS into his word processor, and out comes a RELIABLE, TRIED & TRUE, "Star Trek-esque" script.
At the hands of a more talented writer, a new version of "Battlestar Galactica" never would have had a "Seven of Nine" CLONE called "Six." A new version never would have RESEMBLED "Star Trek." A new version would have been as far removed from "Star Trek" as you can get. Critiquing Ronald D. Moore's work, you discover a reckless, haphazard writer who throws scripts together with the same lack of care that a school cafeteria food server slops mashed potatoes and gravy on a student's tray as he/she passes by. Ronald D. Moore has done nothing for television or Science Fiction. He pours his formulas and endless "Star Trek" cliches into whatever new project he tackles, and hopes to God that the audience doesn't notice that he is a NO TALENT HACK.
Lately, Ronald. Moore has descended down the road of DERIVATIVENESS and COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT of endless properties to such a degree; you can't help but get the impression that Ronald D. Moore has no love for his profession at all. That he merely "Slops" scripts together and produces garbage "assembly line fashion" as quickly as possible; so he can pick up his next paycheck and run to the market so he can pick up a gallon of milk for his wife and kids.
In the proud legacy of televised Science fiction, Ronald D. Moore will not be remembered fondly. He will be remembered for DECIMATING the memory of "Battlestar Galactica", and performing an ABORTION on everything that "Battlestar Galactica" really is. In terms of "Star Trek", Ronald D. Moore and the other "Star Trek" staff writers will be remembered for taking the brilliant premise of Gene Roddenberry, and turning it into a BORING SOAP OPERA with TECHNO-BABBLE.
After witnessing Ronald D. Moore LAY WASTE to televised Science Fiction since the early 1990's, I am still waiting for any piece of evidence to manifest itself which justifies the INCREDULOUS INFATUATION the Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation has for Ronald D. Moore. In short, where is this man's GOD DAMN TALENT? It sure as hell ISN'T in writing or producing.
It is safe to say, that Ronald D. Moore has permanently replaced Glen A. Larson has someone to be ridiculed. Comparing Glen A. Larson's body of work to Ronald D. Moore's, at least Larson CONSISTENTLY showed some IMAGINATION and ORIGINALITY in his work. Though Glen Larson's projects sometimes got cheesy, at least his imagination WAS ALWAYS THERE. Even in some of Glen Larson's lesser liked shows; such as "Galactica: 1980", "Manimal", and "Automan", there was originality and imagination in what he did.
Ronald D. Moore on the other hand, is a "ONE-NOTE 'STAR TREK' CRETIN." No matter what new project Ronald D. Moore tackles, he makes NO EFFORT WHATSOEVER to leave "Star Trek" behind him. With each passing day, the series Ronald D. Moore has the NERVE to call "Battlestar Galactica" MUTATES more and more into a "Starfleet Universe."...The "Seven of Nine" CLONE "Six", his characters behaving like STARFLEET OFFICERS, the "Star Trek-esque" solutions to his plots. Ronald D. Moore without a doubt, is the WORST and LEAST IMAGINATIVE individual working in television today. He simply has NO IMAGINATION.
As of March 3, 2005:
"BATTLESTAR GALACTICA" STILL HAS NOT BEEN REVIVED
