For those of us keeping score, (and aren't we all keeping score)?; here is a rundown on all of the LAWSUITS that have been filed against Universal Studios and its subsidiary Sci-Fi Channel over the years:
1) Universal Studios SUED for race discrimination. - http://www.eeoc.gov/press/9-30-03a.html
2) A "voodoo" advocacy group has SUED Sci-Fi Channel over its new series "Mad, Mad House", on the grounds that "Mad, Mad House" misrepresents the "voodoo" practice.
3) A contestant from the Sci-Fi Channel series "Scare Tactics" SUED Sci-Fi Channel on the grounds of mental cruelty and physical injury during the making of the show.
4) Paramount Pictures Corp. MAY be SUING Universal Studios over the Ron Moore mini series on the grounds that Ron Moore LIFTED ideas from "Star Trek" and placed them into his mini series. (Sadly, this has not happened as of 10/23/04).
5) Phil Donahue SUED Universal Studios over his former talk show, on the grounds that reruns of his former talk show are being kept under lock and key in a storage facility.
6) Actor James Garner SUED Universal Studios over past due residual payments for his former tv show "Rockford Files."
7) Actor Lee Majors SUED Universal Studios over profits past due for his former tv show "Six Million Dollar Man."

Universal Studios ignores massive fan mail in support of "Battlestar Galactica" being brought back.

1988-1997
Universal Studios IGNORES further fan mail. Universal Studios also hires Bonnie Hammer to manage Sci-Fi Channel during this time, and she is indoctrinated into the "Corporate Ways" of TRASHING "Battlestar Galactica."
1997-2002
Universal Studios IGNORES the revival efforts of Richard Hatch, as well as the existence of the LARGE "Battlestar Galactica" fanbase.
2002
Universal Studios hires Ronald D. Moore to TRASH the property once and for all with a "STAR TREK CLONE" and THEFT of the "Galactica" title.
