If the information from Ronald D. Moore's butler (TwoBrained Cylon) is accurate, Ronald D. Moore turned out to be the most NOTORIOUS PRACTITIONER of HYPOCRISY to come along in a long time. Ronald D. Moore ( as far as I'm concerned) has far surpassed Glen A. Larson in not being particularly popular with a fanbase. In the case of Larson, we have pretty much come to expect the "Cantankerous Ramblings" of an OLD MAN who dreams and announces his intentions of doing a "Galactica" continuation movie, yet never does.
In the case of Ronald D. Moore, we have a different animal here. We have an up and coming (he thinks) television producer who obviously feels that the only way he can get ahead in his career, is to CLAW, CLING TO COLLEAGUES, BULLSHIT A FANBASE, and BUFFALLO HIS PRODUCTIONS INTO EXISTENCE in direct CONTRADICTION to what the public REALLY WANTS TO SEE.
In the grand tradition of the WORST REPUBLICANS running off with the taxpayers money, Ronald D. Moore has turned out to be the most HYPOCRITICAL, CONTRADICTORY, UNDERHANDED, and RUTHLESS ADVERSARY that not only the "Galactica" fanbase has ever had, but what the "Galactica" property itself has ever had. Ronald D. Moore may have BULLSHITTED himself into a "JURY-RIGED CAREER", but the sad, end result for him will be; that the public will not be there WATCHING HIS CRAP, or cheering him on. He pretty much boxed himself into a RAT CAGE, where only himself and his Hollywood colleagues will be watching the CRAP he produces.
During Russell Sanders (Two-Brained Cylon's) THEATRICAL TEMPER TANTRUM on www.Cylon.org, he repeatedly put forth the question:
WHY IS RONALD D. MOORE HATED SO MUCH?
Perhaps ONE OF THE REASONS, was Moore's HYPOCRITICAL ATTITUDE during this entire "Deterioration Process" of Ronald D. Moore being given the "Read Carpet Treatment" by Universal Studios to TRASH "Battlestar Galactica." Personally, I believe Ronald D. Moore's HYPOCRITICAL ATTITUDE was CAREFULLY CALCULATED from day one, and represents an example of one of the most "RUTHLESS, HYPOCRITICAL MARKETING CAMPAIGNS" ever devised:
1) First, Ronald D. Moore FEIGNED friendship with the "Galactica" fanbase, and FEIGNED being a fan of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES", to begin TRYING to build an audience for his television production.
2) When news began leaking out that Moore was doing things to the "Galactica" property that were quite frankly, DESTRUCTIVE AS HELL; Moore kept up his BULLSHIT ACT by reassuring the "Galactica" fanbase that it was all, JUST RUMOR.
3) As the airdate for his mini series was fast approaching, and HOSTILITY FROM THE FANBASE reached the point of no return, Ronald D. Moore then played the "MR. INNOCENT ROUTINE", claiming that he had written his reimagined script NOT KNOWING (he claims) how strongly the fanbase felt about a continuation.
4) We now reach the point where Ronald D. Moore DIDN'T NEED THE FANBASE ANYMORE to BULLSHIT HIS PRODUCTION INTO EXISTENCE. This is the point where the mini series had already aired, the 13 episode order was LOCKED IN, and we see an ABOUT FACE in Ronald D. Moore's attitude from FEIGNED FRIEND, TO OUTRIGHT ADVERSARY TO THE "GALACTICA" FANBASE.
This is the point where Moore began making RECKLESS STATEMENTS SUCH AS:
a) "Yeah, this production really isn't Battlestar Galactica, I'm just USING the title."
b) "My production in fact, has been HEAVILY INFLUENCED by 'Star Trek' all along."
c) "My production is what I have always wanted to do on 'Deep Space Nine', but was NEVER ALLOWED TO."
This HYPOCRISY, combined with Ronald D. Moore's SNOBBISH ATTITUDE towards the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES"; DOOMED HIM TO A CAREER of being on the receiving end of ENDLESS ANIMOSITY from the "Galactica" fanbase fully aware of the DAMAGE he is inflicting on this property.
At least in the case of Glen A. Larson, Larson never showed any partial allegience to the "Star Trek" property in his scriptwriting, AS HAS BEEN THE CASE WITH RONALD. D. MOORE.
Mentally, Ronald D. Moore always has been a "STAR TREK WRITER" who will never give a FLYING RAT'S ASS as to what "Battlestar Galactica" REALLY IS. Thus, all of this HATRED that Russell Sanders "just can't figure out" is being showered on Ronald D. Moore, is THOROUGHLY JUSTIFIED.
