When the Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation is CAUGHT in the middle of a DECEPTIVE, GUERRILLA MARKETING CAMPAIGN; they continue going about their daily business DENYING THE REALITY of having been caught. Everything is "A-OK" within the curious and ECCENTRIC WORLD of Universal/Sci-Fi Channel executives each time they are CAUGHT doing something. What do they do when they are caught? They keep doing what they were originally caught doing.
We all remember the INCIDENT involving Sci-Fi Channel and M. Night Shyamalan, don't we? Bonnie Hammer was so DESPERATE for any scrap of Nielson ratings, that she FABRICATED a story of how there was some SUPPOSED conflict going on between M. Night Shyamalan and the Sci-Fi Channel. The Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation was CAUGHT by a brave soul working in the media (he actually finked on the Sci-Fi Channel), and REPORTED that the entire DEBABLE dreamed up by Bonnie Hammer was FABRICATED.
Hammer, ELUSIVE and EMBARRASSED as always; immediately lapsed into typical "Universal Executive Evasive Jargon", and simply stated that it was a "Guerrilla marketing campaign that went too far." Obviously, if Hammer and Sci-Fi Channel had never been caught, HAMMER NEVER WOULD HAVE SAID ANYTHING.
We are now experiencing yet another "GUERRILLA MARKETING CAMPAIGN" from Sci-Fi Channel that reached the "out of hand" phase a good two years ago. A "GUERRILLA MARKETING CAMPAIGN" that makes the M. Night Shyamalan debacle look like a Sunday picnic. Of course, the reason why this current GUERRILLA MARKETING CAMPAIGN has been going on for as long as it has, and the reason why BONNIE HAMMER HASN'T SAID ANYTHING YET, is because Bonnie Hammer HASN'T BEEN CAUGHT YET by the mainstream media.
For the past two years, Bonnie Hammer and the Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation have been MANUFACTURING A FALSE FANBASE OVER THE INTERNET for Ronald D. Moore and his "Crappy Ass: Galactica" production. This FALSE FANBASE consists of Universal executives (middle management), and Universal marketers; ALL POSING AS FANS on Internet bulletin boards owned by the Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation. Not only that, but Sci-Fi Channel has been writing and releasing FALSE PRESS RELEASES over the Internet designed to ARTIFICIALLY INFLATE the ratings performance of Ronald D. Moore's production, to presumably dupe "Sky One" into funding additional episodes of Ronald D. Moore's production. Not to be outdone, Universal executives have also been patrolling the Internet ATTACKING anyone in the public domain who speaks out against Ronald D. Moore's production, BANNING ANYONE from the www.Scifi.com bulletin boards who SPEAK OUT against Ronald D. Moore's production, and these same executives (POSING AS FANS), have been showering UNREALISTIC PRAISE on Ronald D. Moore's production. And I'll bet all of you have been wondering why a television production that is INDISTINGUISHABLE from "Star Trek" and "Babylon 5" deserves such praise, huh?
There apparently is a GREAT DEAL riding on the success of Ronald D. Moore's LOW BUDGET PRODUCTION. I'll wager it goes way beyond the modest money spent on it, thus far. For some reason, Ronald D. Moore's LAUGHABLE PRODUCTION seems to have the CAREERS and FUTURES of a great many individuals within Universal/Sci-Fi Channel RIDING ON ITS SUCCESS. If this production doesn't make it in anyway, alot of these Universal/Sci-Fi Channel execs WILL BE LOOKING FOR OTHER JOBS, Bonnie Hammer included. Thus, you have the FALSE FANBASE for this production (CONSTRUCTED BY SCI-FI CHANNEL) patrolling and combing the Internet even while I am writing this.
When the mainstream media blows the lid off of this LATEST STUNT being pulled by Sci-Fi Channel and Bonnie Hammer, Hammer will have to say alot more than "Uhm....Uh....Cough......Er......Ummm.......Cough" WHEN SHE IS CAUGHT.
