Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

Judging by the way Universal/Sci-Fi Channel behaves all of the time, you would think that they would know what the public wants to see. Universal/Sci-Fi Channel had quite a LOFTY AGENDA in mind when they first greenlit Ronald D. Moore's production. They wanted to:
1) Reinvent televised Science Fiction.
2) Keep the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" dead.
3) Set ratings precedents with Ronald D. Moore's series.
4) Sweep the fanbase of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" under the rug for good.
5) Let the "Galactica" fanbase know in no uncertain terms that since they owned the "Galactica" property, they could do whatever the FUCK they wanted to do with it, GOOD OR BAD.
6) Perhaps most importantly, during the entire three years that Universal/Sci-Fi Channel and Ronald D. Moore have been in business together; both Universal and Ronald D. Moore made it the A-1 PRIORITY to let the public know (and they did indeed, RAM IT DOWN OUR THROATS) that they DON'T GIVE A FLYING RATS ASS about the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES."
Out of the six initial goals of Universal and Ronald D. Moore I listed above, both Universal and Ron Moore ONLY accomplished two of them. And that was numbers 5 and 6. They TOTALLY SUCCEEDED in letting us know that THEY DON'T GIVE A FLYING RATS ASS about the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES." And they also did SUCCEED in proving that they could do whatever the FUCK they wanted to do with the "Galactica" copyright, GOOD OR BAD. In this particular instance, IT WAS ALL BAD. As for the rest of Universal's agenda, they FAILED at reinventing televised Science Fiction. They FAILED at keeping the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" dead. They FAILED to set ratings precedents with Ronald D. Moore's series. And they FAILED to sweep us (the fanbase of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES") under the rug for good.
How could Universal/Sci-Fi Channel NOT KNOW the very business they are in? According to Russel Sanders latest "INSIDE INFORMATION" on Ronald D. Moore's production, NOTHING is going according to plans for Universal/Sci-Fi Channel. Putting it mildly, Universal/Sci-Fi Channel is having a VERY HARD TIME with Ronald D. Moore's production right now. They have been DISAPPOINTED in the performance of Ronald D. Moore's series. So much so, that they are waiting until the last possible moment to decide whether or not to give Ron Moore the order for six additional episodes. This is certainly a far cry from the PROPAGANDA SATURATED BULLSHIT being reported (daily) on www.ragnaranchorage.tk, www.Galactica2003.net, and www.Scifi.com/Scifiwire.
Universal/Sci-Fi Channel is supposed to have all of the answers, right? In their infinite, corporate wisdom; it was supposed to be a FOOL PROOF PLAN of treating the "Galactica" fanbase LIKE SHIT, ATTACKING the public on their bulletin boards, and PUBLICLY INSULTING the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" and its fans. In the midst of all of this DAILY ABUSE being fanned out by the Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation for the past three years, they still somehow convinced themselves that everything would just "MAGICALLY COME TOGETHER" for them, Ronald D. Moore, and his tv series. That despite the ABUSE they were fanning out during their CORRUPT MARKETING CAMPAIGN, they would still......somehow......come out on top.
Three straight years of all of this PSYCHOTIC BULLSHIT being fanned out by the Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation, the fruits of their labors are this:
THE FUTURE OF RONALD D. MOORE'S PRODUCTION IS UNCERTAIN, QUESTIONABLE, UNLIKELY, DOUBTFUL.
For a corporation that frequently boasts of how they know the business they are in, I'm STILL WAITING for any evidence to prove it.
