Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

Those of us who were posting on the Sci-Fi Channel board two years ago know that there was something incredibly suspicious about the departure of Michael Faries from not only the Sci-Fi Channel boards, but also his role in supplying sensitive, behind the scenes information to "Galactica" fandom about the inner goings on and progress in the revival of "Battlestar Galactica." Michael Faries was a valuable messenger, and to see such a valuable messenger literally vanish from "Galactica" fandom was painful to watch.
I specifically remember the last post of Michael Faries on the Sci-Fi Channel board. He stated that the revival effort had exploded into an all out war between the Ron Moore camp and factions within Universal Studios who at that time, were contemplating rewriting and ghost writing Ron Moore's reimagined script into a much preferred (by fandom) continuation. According to Faries, when things didn't look good for the future of Ron Moore's reimagined script, Moore mobilized buddies and colleagues within the industry in order to buffalo (force) Universal Studios into making his mini series script. While such underhanded tactics are not unknown in Hollywood, the degree of severity Ronald D. Moore took it to set a precedent.
Immediately after Michael Faries made this post on the Sci-Fi Channel boards, he dropped out of fandom and resigned as the provider of sensitive, behind the scenes information to fandom. Suspicious? You bet!! I believe some authority from Universal/Sci-Fi Channel came down HARD on Michael Faries for posting this information, and told him in no uncertain terms that he was not to be providing anymore behind the scenes information to fandom.
As Ron Moore's mini series comes and goes, and as the 13 episode series comes and goes, I suspect Universal/Sci-Fi Channel wants this little incident involving Ron moore and hinted at by Michael Faries dropped as a subject. Since Universal/Sci-Fi Channel has never shown any respect whatsoever towards the "Galactica" fanbase, I won't let this issue be dropped. Because a continuation of "Battlestar Galactica" WAS THE CASUALTY in this entire MESS.

How about a tell all book, Michael? A book about all of the back stabbing, dishonesty, and CHAOS you witnessed FIRST HAND behind the scenes at Universal Studios?

Are you still with us, Michael? How are things in "I know too much behind the scenes information to report it on the Internet" land?

Yo, Michael!! Anymore dishonest filth going on at Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel? Other than the existence of Ronald D. Moore's television series?
