Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

Lee Goldberg is one of those television writers in the industry who made such an impact on viewers, that no one knows who the heck he is. Goldberg evidently has a problem with the "Battlestar Galactica" ads the "Colonial Fan Force" purchased in "Variety" magazine. So much so, that he wasted his time and perfectly good column space in ridiculing the "Galactica" fanbase for thinking the ads would make a difference.
Well, Lee Goldberg obviously doesn't have a clue about life, his pathetic role in it, and the power of a television show. After TRASHING the "1978 Galactica Series" in his column and all of the series fans, he then goes on to boldly inform us that he is a fan of the Dick Van Dyke SNOOZE FEST "Diagnosis: Murder." Yes, the one and only (Thank, God) "Diagnosis Murder" show. Where Son Barry Van Dyke co-starred, and the entire litter of Van Dyke offspring. I guess Lee Goldberg is one of those "Anti-Galactica" types in Hollywood who has hated "Battlestar Galactica" right along side Universal Studios since 1978. Isn't it amazing how many people in Hollywood or attached to Hollywood in some way waste no time in telling the world how much they hate "Battlestar Galactica?" In Goldberg's case, he pretty much shot his credibility as a journalist to oblivion as, after TRASHING "Battlestar Galactica", he sings the praises of "Diagnosis: Murder", an unspired, boring hour of cliched CLAP-TRAP that actually beats Ronald D. moore's "Trekkie Star: Galactica" series in how many stolen elements from other tv shows are present in it.
So Goldberg, you like "Diagnosis Murder?" What do you like about it? The cliched, warmed over writing from the 1970's? The unrealistic premise of how a doctor spends more time solving crimes than operating on patients? The entire Van Dyke clan being involved in every aspect of the show? Let me tell you something, Goldberg. "Diagnosis: Murder" is on the PAX Network for a reason. Garbage television has to have a home somewhere, right? As for your predictable, cliched HATRED of the "1978 Galactica" series common in all types like you; if you don't like the show, stay thousands of miles away from it, OK?
