It takes alot of publicity to jack up Ronald D. Moore, doesn't it? It takes an entire PUBLICITY MACHINE working 24 hours a day to TRY and convey the ILLUSION that Ronald D. Moore has any sort of talent. It takes the entire Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation, MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, and an ARMY of Sci-Fi Channel executives on the Internet POSING AS RON MOORE FANS to TRY and convey the ILLUSION that Ronald D. Moore has any sort of talent. Thus far, this publicity machine has failed. It ultimately would have to come down to Ronald D. Moore's scriptwriting abilites speaking for itself as to whether or not the viewing audience would really believe it. The viewing audience is not convinced. What they have noticed about Ronald D. Moore, is that when his PUBLICITY MACHINE is stripped away, he is a SECOND RATE, HACK, SOAP OPERA WRITER who RECYCLES OLD "STAR TREK" IDEAS, and tries to pass them off as his own.
The true measure of whether or not Ronald D. Moore is a talented writer, would be to TOTALLY DEPRIVE HIM of the comforts of his PUBLICITY MACHINE coming out of Sci-Fi Channel. STRIP Ronald D. Moore of his PUBLICITY MACHINE, force him to stand up in Hollywood on his own two feet, and SEE HOW LONG HE LASTS. I guarantee you it would be less than a day. By 11:00 A.M., Ronald D. Moore would be standing in the UNEMPLOYMENT LINE. All of this time, throughout his career, Ronald D. Moore has been INSULATED from the HARD KNOCKS of Hollywood. While he was working for Rick Berman, he was INSULATED inside of the COZY "Star Trek Staff Writers Circle." When he moved on to Sci-Fi Channel, Ronald D. Moore was and is INSULATED INSIDE OF the Sci-Fi Channel PUBLICITY MACHINE, trying to HIDE from the world his LACK OF TALENT as a producer and writer. When is this insulation going to end? When is Ronald D. Moore going to stop HIDING from the world? When is Moore going to admit he has NO TALENT, and admit that his only place in life is getting coffee for Rick Berman?
Ronald D. Moore's PUBLICITY MACHINE insulated him from the world long enough so he could produce and write a STAR TREK SEQUEL SERIES called "Battlestar Galactica" with SOAP OPERA ELEMENTS. If Ronald D. Moore produced and wrote this CRAP without the benefit of being INSULATED from the world by his PUBLICITY MACHINE, his series would have been CANCELLED long before now.
I've said it before and I'll say it again:
WHEN IS RONALD D. MOORE GOING TO STAND UP ON HIS OWN TWO FEET IN HOLLYWOOD?
