David Eick should just keep his mouth shut, because everytime he opens up; he gets himself into deeper trouble with fans of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES." In a total "about face" of behavior that Eick and his cast & crew have been KNOWN FOR, David Eick is now CLAIMING that he and the entire production are quite fond of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES." Oh really, David? When did this SUPPOSEDLY occur? Within the past 24 hours? Did something happen to you POLITICALLY within the past day that caused you to SUDDENLY start claiming this? David Eick claims that he now wants to start incorporating more of the original elements from the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" into the production, including....the Egyptian elements (??) Here's a little refresher course for you, David. Your cast and crew (as well as the executive SLIMEBALLS at Sci-Fi Channel) have spent the better part of the past two years RIDICULING the "Egyptian" elements of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES", claiming that these elements were "so 1970's......". Gee, David. What happened? Why the sudden "about face" in the direction you are taking your CRAPPY ASS show? I say again,...did something happen to you POLITICALLY within the past 24 hours, such as the ENDLESS CRITICISM the public has been unleashing on your show is FINALLY GETTING TO YOU?
You know what, David? What I see in you, is a television producer making a LAST GASP BREATH OF AIR in trying to SAVE YOUR SHOW which you finally realize has not gone over well with the general public. This I promise you, David (Eick.) At this point in time, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO TO TRY AND SAVE YOUR SHOW......NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO IN TRYING TO MAKE A LAST GASP ATTEMPT AT APPEALING TO THE FANBASE OF THE "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES"....(WHICH YOU INITIALLY BLEW OFF).....NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO IN TRYING TO SWEEP UNDER THE RUG AS TO HOW YOUR CAST AND CREW HAVE TREATED FANS OF THE "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" SINCE DAY ONE......I WILL NEVER......EVER......WATCH YOUR CRAPPY ASS TV SHOW, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO WITH IT....OR TRY AND CHANGE.....
I see that you have even resorted to finally RIPPING OFF "Star Wars." Well, it was only a matter of time, right David? Since you and Ronald D. Moore have RIPPED OFF EVERYTHING ELSE UNDER THE SUN, it was only a matter of time before "Star Wars" would finally enter the picture, right?
I have some CAREER ADVICE for you, Mr. David Eick. ABANDON this TRASH HEAP of a television production you have the NERVE to call "Battlestar Galactica", go on a religious retreat and develop some sort of imagination, and when you have the NERVE to return to television and produce something ORIGINAL, KEEP YOUR DAMN MOUTH SHUT until the verdict is in on the public's opinion of your new production. The RAPING you and Ronald D. Moore have done of the "Battlestar Galactica" BRAND NAME is getting PRETTY DAMN OLD, isn't it?
