Well, Ronald D. Moore opened up his BIG FAT MOUTH AGAIN; and once again, HE HAD NOTHING CONSTRUCTIVE TO SAY. At this point in time, any opinions that Ronald D. Moore has on "Battlestar Galactica" are IRRELEVANT, as he has proven that he doesn't know JACK SHIT about "Battlestar Galactica." Throwing together a "STAR TREK CLONE" and calling it "Battlestar Galactica" immediately rendered any opinions that Ronald D. Moore has NULL & VOID.
I don't give a FLYING RAT'S ASS that Ronald D. Moore thinks that any continuation of "Battlestar Galactica" should pick up where "Galactica: 1980" left off. This BRILLIANT OBSERVATION coming from a guy whose first achievement in writing his mini series script was coming up with the "Seven Of Nine" CLONE - "Six." (Ronald D. Moore's FIRST STEP in creating a "STAR TREK CLONE") ...... Ronald D. Moore is about as much of an authority on "Battlestar Galactica" as is John Kenneth Muir, WHICH ISN'T SAYING MUCH FOR MOORE.
Is the fanbase getting to Moore so much, that he LASHED OUT like this in a recent interview? The only reason that Ronald D. Moore is employed right now, is because of the "Battlestar Galactica" BRAND NAME. For him to LASH OUT at the very fanbase who kept this BRAND NAME ALIVE for a quarter century, and for him to SCOLD this very fanbase for NOT ACCEPTING his "STAR TREK CRAP" which he attached the "Battlestar Galactica" BRAND NAME TO, is the LAST STRAW in an endless series of SMART ASS REMARKS and BEHAVIORS from Ronald D. Moore.
I don't know what it was which prompted Ronald D. Moore to LASH OUT at the "Galactica" fanbase like this, but I AM GLAD THAT RONALD D. MOORE IS SUFFERING. I AM GLAD that he realizes that the LACK OF QUALITY IN HIS WORK is being RECOGNIZED, CRITICIZED, and CONDEMNED.
Ronald D. Moore has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES", its fanbase; and has DONE NOTHING to contribute to the PROUD LEGACY of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES." Ronald D. Moore has his "STAR TREK JOB", has his "STAR TREK: GALACTICA" companion book coming out later this year, and has Sci-Fi Channel footing the bill for his further RETREADS OF STAR TREK CLICHES. What more could this LOSER want? Does he want the UNCONDITIONAL WORSHIP from fans of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES", that HE IS GETTING from the UNIVERSAL/SCI-FI CHANNEL EXECUTIVES licking his ASS every day? That will never happen!!
Ronald D. Moore has the NERVE to say that "Galactica fans can't have it both ways. They can't have a Galactica continuation and just discard Galactica: 1980 at the same time." Ronald D. Moore ISN'T even a knowledgeable authority on "Battlestar Galactica", so where does he GET OFF saying this? Well I have some "Boomerang Advice" for Ronald D. Moore of my own:
"You can't have it both ways Ronald D. Moore. You can't TRASH the 'REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES' in your
SORRY ASS tv show, and then expect to be taken seriously as a knowledgeable spokesperson for the series
YOU TRASHED."
You never even watched "Galactica: 1980", Ronald D. Moore. Hell, you never even watched the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES." Where do you GET OFF laying down some kind of rule where "Galactica: 1980" must be considered as Canon; where you will just be MOCKED, DISRESPECTED, and DISREGARDED for trying to lay down that rule?
Want to know what I love the most about you, Ronny boy? You try and use the "Temporal Anomaly" GIMMICK in "Star Trek" to voice your OPINION that a continuation of "Battlestar Galactica" must pick up where "Galactica: 1980" left off because no parallel universe can allow the existence of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES." Is this written in some CODE BOOK somewhere, Ronny boy? Since when does the existence of "Galactica: 1980" wipe out the existence of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES?" You must REALLY HATE the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" to say something AS IDIOTIC AS THAT. Here's some BLUNT ADVICE, Ronny boy!! Leave your GOD DAMN "Temporal Anomaly Gimmicks" safely tucked away UP YOUR CLICHED ASS when talking about "Battlestar Galactica." Lord knows, television viewers have had MORE THAN ENOUGH of the ENDLESS "Temporal Anomaly Storylines" YOU and the other "Star Trek" staff writers have been RAMMING DOWN THE VIEWER'S THROATS since 1987.
The only place a continuation of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" can't exist Ronny boy, is within the ECCENTRIC THOUGHT PATTERNS of your DERANGED MIND. You FEAR a continuation of "Battlestar Galactica", because it would POSE A THREAT TO YOUR CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT. So get off of your "Temporal Anomaly High Horse", Ronny boy; and WARP FACTOR YOUR SORRY ASS back to Rick Berman's front porch. O.K.? 
You have NO SAY in this fanbase, Ronald D. Moore. You are NOT WELCOME in this fanbase, your CRAPPY ASS TV SHOW is NOT WELCOME in this fanbase, your ARROGANT OPINIONS are NOT WELCOME in this fanbase. So, why don't you GET THE HELL OUT OF TELEVISON, and GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR LIVES?
