Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

Ronald D. Moore should be proud of himself. He is now in the ranks of Michael Cimino and Menahem Golan as one of the all time worst, unbankable schmucks in Hollywood. Where do unsuccessful people hang out in Hollywood? The unemployment line with the cast and crew of "Cat In The Hat?"
I wish that I was present during the filming of the Ron Moore mini series. Watching Ron Moore trip all over himself while studying the production drawings and scripts from Paramount Picture's "Star Trek" franchise would have been a sight to behold. If you tell me that a "Star Trek: Voyager" script was not on the set during the filming of the Ron Moore mini series, I will show you an "elephant with wings."
Ron Moore was the apple of Rick Berman's eye during the golden days of post, original series "Star Trek." You know these golden days, right? The days when Rick Berman had a solid employment future with Paramount Pictures Corp. During this era, it is obvious that Ronald D. Moore accumulated a personal collection of "Star Trek" DVD's, scripts, production drawings, prototype alien sculptures, blueprints, hand props, etc. You know all of this stuff, right? All of the stuff that inspired the Ron Moore mini series. Part of the fun for those who watched the mini series, is PINPOINTING where a "Star Trek" inspired prop showed up. Whether it be a set, prop, plot idea, character idea, etc.
Cylons On A Budget: Put Her In A Cocktail Dress
It took Ronald D. Moore about 30 seconds to think about and solve the budget problem of not being able to rebuild the original Cylon robots from "Battlestar Galactica." Thinking about the "Seven Of Nine" character from "Star Trek: Voyager", Ron Moore added the extremely CLICHED TWIST of making a "Nympho-Robo-Whore" for the teenage boys in the audience. How many characters like this have we seen in Science Fiction? Or variations on the same? Way too many.
Ronald D. Moore is a LAZY writer. He took every CLICHED ESCAPE ROUTE while writing his mini series. It helped Ron immensely to have Paramount Picture's "Star Trek" franchise as a RESEARCH LIBRARY to draw upon while writing his mini series. It's extremely safe to say that were it not for the existence of "Seven Of Nine", the character of "Six" would not exist either.
