Perhaps it's because that underneath the layers of BAD WRITING, NOVICE PRODUCING, DERIVATIVE & CLICHED STORYLINES, the SCHIZOPHRENIC PREMISE, and endless counts of COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT.....the POLITICAL AGENDAS of Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel executives HAVE BEEN SATISFIED. From day one I stated that Ronald D. Moore's production would not be viewer friendly. This has proven to be prophetic. Ronald D. Moore's "Star Crap: Galactica" has proven to be the most VIEWER UNFRIENDLY, POLITICALLY SATURATED production in television history. Ronald D. Moore's production has proven just how ANIMOSTIC Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel executives REALLY ARE towards the "Battlestar Galactica" copyright. This is a corporation that doesn't give a FLYING FUCK about the "Battlestar Galactica" copyright, and will do anything to ABUSE the "Battlestar Galactica" brand name, even attach it to Ronald D. Moore's STAR TREK CLONE.
Ronald D. Moore's production is not worth watching because there is NOTHING worthwhile to watch. Ronald D. Moore regurgitates old premises and ideas done thousands of times better on the shows he STOLE them from, and expects to find a television audience. 1.5 years after Ronald D. Moore's "Star Shit: Galactica" premiered, HE STILL HASN'T FOUND AN AUDIENCE...And despite the diehard protests of Darth Marley and Stallion_Cornell, EMOTIONALLY IMMATURE & PSYCHOTIC Universal Studios executives pretending to be Ron Moore's fans DO NOT COUNT as any sort of an audience.
Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel executives succeeded in doing one thing. They succeeded in CRAPPING out a television show that ONLY Universal Studios executives would want to watch. What's not to like in Ronald D. Moore's production for Universal Studios executives, who have been SALIVATING OVER THIS SHIT for the past 1. 5 years? All of their POLITICAL AGENDAS have been SATISFIED with this show. Such secondary nonsense as ENTERTAINING the TELEVISION AUDIENCE is UNIMPORTANT for these Universal Studios executives as long as their precious POLITICAL AGENDAS get SATISFIED along the way.
Ronald D. Moore's production has achieved exactly what Universal Studios POLITICAL AGENDAS wanted it to achieve:
1) Keep the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" dead.
2) Keep George Lucas HAPPY!! 
3) Preserve their ownership of the "Galactica" copyright which they FULLY INTEND to keep ABUSING for the
next QUARTER CENTURY.
4) Prevent anyone else (such as Tom DeSanto) from doing anything GENUINELY CONSTRUCTIVE with the
"Battlestar Galactica" property.
5) Allow themselves to continue to unleash the MOST DESTRUCTIVE MANAGEMENT DECISIONS on the
"Galactica" copyright (Ronald D. Moore' series), which of course, will continue to prevent "Battlestar Galactica"
from reaching even its BARE MINIMUM POTENTIAL.
When Ronald D. Moore's series is FINALLY LAYED TO REST in the CANCELLATION SHIT-CAN, let this be a lesson to ALL Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel executives. Maybe next time they will think twice about making a CRAPPY ASS television show for THEMSELVES TO ENJOY POLITICALLY.
