The only thing that SUCKS ASS worse than the 2004-2005 season of "Saturday Night Live" is Ronald D. Moore's "Star Crap: Galactica" series. As producers, Ronald D. Moore and Lorne Michaels routinely (and effortlessly) give television viewers every reason in the world to not turn on their tv sets every week. "Saturday Night Live" and "Star Crap: Galactica" die an embarrassing and excruciating death every week, characterized by two LAZY ASS PRODUCERS who don't give a SHIT about the quality of product they put on the airwaves. The general suckiness of both "Saturday Night Live" and "Star Crap: Galactica" makes one wonder if Ronald D. Moore and Lorne Michaels are on the same "Psychic Wavelength." These are two producers who know how to:
1) Piss off television viewers.
2) Bore television viewers to death.
3) Turn the television airwaves into a mindless excursion of television programming without purpose.
4) Give viewers enough motivation to turn off their tv sets and have a social life on the weekends.
In both instances, the pathetic television that Ronald D. Moore and Lorne Michaels make, is a hollow shell of the proud legacies that these brand names once had. "Saturday Night Live" was once a lightning rod for the most gifted comedy talents that God ever created. Steve Martin, Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, Phil Hartman; all exploded off of the television screen with inspired characters, impressions, and comedy writing that inspired an entire generation of television watchers. Now, "Saturday Night Live" limps along from week to week with a new cast that never should have survived the audition phase. "Saturday Night Live" SUCKS ASS, and Lorne Michaels DOES NOTHING to correct the problem.
The ABUSE of the "Battlestar Galactica" brand name by Universal/Sci-Fi Channel/Ronald D. Moore plunges to new depths of CORPORATE INEPTITUDE with each passing day. What once was a genuine epic with INSPIRED production design, visual effects, and family values is now a LOW BUDGET, HIGH SCHOOL PLAY with as many SEXUAL PERVERSIONS that Ronald D. Moore can cram into his little TURD FEST. Ronald D. Moore's production SUCKS HORSE SHIT, having as little to do with "Battlestar Galactica" as a "Brady Bunch" episode. Everything about Ronald D. Moore's production has been a misfire, from his LACK OF EXPERIENCE as a television producer, all the way down to the fairly boring relationship between "Six" and "Baltar"; which is about as interesting as the romance between "Marcia Brady" and "Davey Jones" on the "Brady Bunch."....Or even "Marcia Brady" and her dentist.
Ronald D. Moore and Lorne Michaels don't physically produce a television show every week. They phone in their make shift producing instructions to the cast and crew while fishing in the Ozarks. I'm sure if you look hard enough, you will find Ronald D. Moore and Lorne Michaels on a fishing trip together; out in the middle of nowhere in a row boat impaling worms on fishing lines. It would be only fitting that two of the WORST PRODUCERS in the history of television would be wearing baggy shorts and knee high gym socks in a row boat together.
What does "Saturday Night Live" and "Star Crap: Galactica" have in common? They both BORE YOU TO DEATH.
