Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

If Ronald D. Moore's "Star Crap: Galactica" had aired in the late 1970's or early 1980's, it would have been laughed off the air and laughed at by the television industry as a whole for the total lack of imagination (and LACK OF BUDGET) in the production design and wardrobe department. Back then, if you were producing Science Fiction television, you had to have a large budget and quality production design just to stay on the air. Nowadays, With Ronald D. Moore and the other "Star Trek" staff writers having sufficiently lowered the expectations and standards of viewers with SUB-STANDARD PRODUCTION DESIGN, anything goes in the current BARGAIN BASEMENT WORLD of producing Science Fiction television.
Ronald D. Moore has five more episodes of "Star Crap: Galactica" to produce. In that brief time, will the QUALITY of the wardrobe improve? Will viewers get something more than "OFF THE RACK CLOTHING" from "WAL-MART" and "SEARS?" Ronald D. Moore and his CRACKER JACK CREW of ANTI-IMAGINATIVE NIT-WITS have yet to prove to me that this series takes place in some far away galaxy. The PRESENT DAY CLOTHING worn by all of the cast members DESTROYS any illusion that this is some convincing, alternate reality we are seeing.
In the production of Science Fiction television, if so much as one aspect of the series was NEGLECTED with budget considerations or the LACK OF IMAGINATION of the wardrobe people, the illusion of reality the producer is hoping to create WILL BE DESTROYED. "Star Crap: Galactica" is the first series in history where EGOS and POLITICAL AGENDAS took precedent over such common sense decision making as adequate funding in production design and wardrobe. Ronald D. Moore's production crew didn't create a DAMN THING for this series. Instead, they raided DEPARTMENT STORES, FLEA MARKETS, and NICKEL & DIME DRUG STORES for such common place items as WALL CLOCKS, EYE GLASSES, EASY-LOUNGE CHAIRS, THREE-PIECE SUITS, etc. About the only thing Ronald D. Moore's production crew LIFTED A FINGER FOR was purchasing some CUBITS off of E-BAY. BIG FRICKIN' DEAL!! How much did that cost? $5.95?
Ronald D. Moore has created an EMBARRASSING and POORLY CONCEIVED television series that EVERYONE HOPES WILL TAKE A BULLET sometime soon. "Star Crap: Galactica" arriving D.O.A. in the television series graveyard is JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED!!
