Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

Ronald D. Moore has more of the "Gobbledegook Claptrap" in store for the few additional episodes he has which premieres this month. Realizing that Ronald D. Moore NEVER had a fanbase or a vast viewership for the first 13 episodes they broadcast, Universal/Sci-Fi Channel continues to keep Ronald D. Moore ATTACHED to his on-line publicity machine which consists of about a dozen Universal Studios executives pretending to be fans. The Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation is not a stranger to FAILURE. So much so, that they will now keep a FAILED TELEVISION SERIES on the air in an ETERNAL BOUT of SELF DENIAL. Who within Universal/Sci-Fi Channel is willing to step forward and ADMIT that Ronald D. Moore's television series has been a RATINGS DISASTER and that it should have been cancelled long ago? It will never happen. There is TOO MUCH POLITICS, TOO MANY EGOS WITH NO TALENT, and TOO MANY PERSONAL AGENDAS tied into Ronald D. Moore's series. So, Universal/Sci-Fi Channel continues to FIGHT LIKE HELL in keeping a FAILED TELEVISION SERIES on the air. The question is, when will the ECONOMIC REALITIES of keeping a FAILED TELEVISION SERIES on the air catch up with Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel? They can't keep it on the air forever. The reality of MONEY will doom Ronald D. Moore's series sooner or later, one way or the other.
Universal/Sci-Fi Channel is also no stranger to SELF DENIAL. They have been in SELF DENIAL ever since they made the STELLAR MISTAKE of BLOWING OFF the fanbase of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES." They have been in SELF DENIAL ever since they realized that Ronald D. Moore is the BIGGEST, NO TALENT HACK they ever hired. They have also been in SELF DENIAL over the PATHETIC RATINGS Moore's series has been pulling in, his FAILURE to bond with the fanbase of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES", and Moore's FAILURE to attract even casual viewers.
Universal/Sci-Fi Channel has most likely reached the point of realizing that it just isn't a "Novelty Act" anymore of having Michael Piller and Ronald D. Moore under the same roof. It isn't financially feasible enough to have a series written by Ronald D. Moore being a companion piece to "Dead Zone", if Moore's series was POORLY PRODUCED and POORLY WRITTEN from the get go. Though I am no fan of Michael Piller, his "Dead Zone" is the better quality product of the two. Ronald D. Moore has proven to be an ABORTED, NO TALENT FIZZLE for Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel who were expecting MUCH, MUCH MORE FROM HIM. Ronald D. Moore threw this series of his together in SHORT HAND, assuming that being the companion piece to "Dead Zone" would insulate him from the realities of the FAULTS his series has. Well, Ronald D. Moore now knows that trying to use Michael Piller as a set of "training wheels" in order to relieve himself of the responsibilities in being a thoroughly professional producer and writer will only take him so far in the television industry. And Ronald D. Moore is just about at the "Stopping Point" of going no further with his series.
Everyone who HASN'T BEEN watching Ronald D. Moore's series could care less that he STOLE and RE-WROTE "The Living Legend." They could care less that once again, Moore cast a female in a male role. They could care less that this episode (if it is shot and aired) will carry the A-TYPICAL "Ronald D. Moore Style Of 'Star Trek' Scriptwriting." BORING & DERIVATIVE AS HELL. Ronald D. Moore has stereotyped himself to such a degree, as "That Boring Star Trek Scriptwriter", that when this gig of his dries up, there won't be any other jobs in television waiting for him. The consequence of not having Michael Piller at his side like a big brother at every single moment.
