Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

Ronald D. Moore and David Eick being stuck with a LOW BUDGET has accentuated their LACK OF IMAGINATION even further. How hard is it to hire an actress with MORTAR MIX CLEAVAGE, stick her in a RED COCKTAIL DRESS, and call her a "Cylon?" Tricia Helfer is no more a "Cylon" than Elizabeth Taylor was ever a "Borrellian Noman." Ronald D. Moore and David Eick are graduates of the "Low Budget School Of Cheap Tricks For Ratings." Their one and only interest thus far has been to cast women all over the place in this thing, and then try and justify the presence of all of these women in their show. Moore and Eick call this casting shit revolutionary. I call it "Post Nasal Drip Bullshit."
The primary advertisement of Ronald D. Moore's HUNK OF CRAP has been a poster of Tricia Helfer wearing a RED COCKTAIL DRESS and showing off her FAKE BOOBS. Then, there is a "Cylon Centurion Strobe Light" emanating from her eyes. Why is this not interesting in the slightest? It's because this is a CHEAP GIMMICK endorsed by the CORRUPT INFRASTRUCTURE of Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel. Universal obviously feels that whatever they feel like calling a Cylon, will be accepted by the public as well. THIS HASN'T HAPPENED. Tricia Helfer IS NOT A CYLON. Tricia Helfer is a NO TALENT HACK ACTRESS WITH FAKE BOOBS who went from playing Farrah Fawcett in a television movie NO ONE WATCHED, to playing a SLUTTY PLAYBOY BUNNY in Ronald D. Moore's "Star Crap: Galactica" which is also NOT BEING WATCHED. (I'm still not counting the Universal Studios executives watching this thing.)
I don't know what Ronald D. Moore and David Eick are on, but I have it narrowed down to some AMPHETAMINE DERIVATIVE. They keep claiming this is revolutionary and quality television they are doing here, and I keep looking for any evidence to support this claim. This is CHEAP GIMMICK TELEVISION with SEX & BOOBS all over the place, with Ronald D. Moore making it as easy on himself as he can by resorting to every ROMANTIC & SEXUAL CLICHE in the book in his scriptwriting. It was suspected by a great many of us that when it was first announced that "Starbuck" would be a female, that it was a GIMMICK DECISION to craft the INEVITABLE male and female leads which would eventually lead to ROMANCE & SEX. The same sort of GIMMICK we have seen in "Scully" and "Mulder", "William Ryker" & "Deanna Trois", "Captain Kirk" & "Yeoman Rand", etc., etc., etc. Ronald D. Moore at first denied it. Then, as surely as the Sun casting an eclipse on RGrant's ASS, Ronald D. Moore eventually ADMITTED to it when it became apparent to him that his FAILED TELEVISION SERIES had the weight of the entire Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation behind it, which came out to be about 1.5 lbs.
Ronald D. Moore's pre-occupation with CLICHED SEXUALITY and CLICHED WOMEN'S LIB has manifested even further with a female Commander of the "Battlestar Pegasus." In an era where there are indeed female Commanders of military vessels in the U.S. Navy, not only is this HARDLY ORIGINAL, but it is also quite frankly BORING AS HELL, CLICHED, and HARDLY STARTLING. A female Battlestar Commander does nothing more than to further the continued SEXUAL ANTICS of Ronald D. Moore and David Eick. Since these two idiots NEVER GOT LAID, I guess the cable airwaves have to pay the price.
If somebody put together a reality show involving all of Hugh Hefner's "Playboy Bunnies" sitting around a stage in military uniforms, red cocktail dresses, and smoking cigars; the program would be a DEAD RINGER for Ronald D. Moore's "Star Crap: Galactica" series. Ronald D. Moore and David Eick made NO ATTEMPT WHATSOEVER to make this show revolutionary, compelling, innovative, new, fresh, imaginative,.....or even worth watching. Maybe this is why Universal/Sci-Fi Channel is still FIGHTING LIKE HELL to keep this PIECE OF SHIT on the air.
