Russell Sanders (Sandy) has changed his positions so many times regarding Ronald D. Moore, it's impossible to know at this late date whose side he really is on. Russell Sanders will criticize Ronald D. Moore alright, but don't expect him to do it right when a potential new season for Moore is on the horizon. Russell Sanders keeps his mouth shut until Ronald D. Moore's series has had plenty of time to VEGETATE in the marketplace, and made the attempt to stand up on its own two feet. This "wait and see" philosophy of Russell Sanders has never worked in the past, and it sure as hell isn't working now. Additionally, since Ronald D. Moore TRASHED the 1978 series that Russell Sanders is so fond of, why does Sanders always give Ron Moore the benefit of the doubt in holding off criticizing his work until Moore's series has had the opportunity to premiere a few new episodes?
If Russell Sanders truly is outraged (as he claims) at what Ronald D. Moore did to "Battlestar Galactica" (making it a soft core porno with no true affiliation to what "Battlestar Galactica" really is), why doesn't he COME OUT OF HIDING and start ATTACKING Ronald D. Moore's series RIGHT NOW a couple weeks before the "additional episode" airdate? Ronald D. Moore certainly has done NO FAVORS for Sandy, so why should Sandy bend over backwards to WIPE RON MOORE'S ASS the way Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel have been doing?
What is PAINFULLY OBVIOUS, is that Russell Sanders (Sandy) is a MINDLESS PUPPET of the Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation. Oh sure, Sandy will criticize Ronald D. Moore's series, but only at the DESIGNATED TIMES the Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation has MAPPED OUT for him to do so. LONG AFTER...........the mini series has aired, LONG AFTER.........the 13 episode quarter season has aired, LONG AFTER........the few additional episodes are broadcast beginning this month. Russell Sanders talks tough when he criticizes Ronald D. Moore, BUT ONLY within the STRICT TIME FRAME DICTATED TO HIM by the Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation.
This truly makes Sandy a COWARD, because it PROVES that he allowed himself to FALL INTO the PUBLICITY MACHINE GUIDELINES set up by the Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation. One of the mandates being......
RATIONED CRITICISM
....Those (Galactica Moderators) who want to criticize Ronald D. Moore may do so, but only within the RATIONED TIME FRAMES layed out by the UNIVERSAL/SCI-FI CHANNEL CORPORATION. Rationed time frames will never fall within the window of an UPCOMING PREMIERE DATE. Long after the premiere date however, RATIONED TIME FRAMES WILL COMMENCE.
Thus, we have Russell Sanders (Sandy) going through another one of his long HIBERNATION PERIODS away from www.Cylon.org. The premiere of Ronald D. Moore's few additional episodes are just weeks away, and Sandy IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. And I'll bet all of you were wondering why Sandy only criticized Ronald D. Moore AT CERTAIN TIMES OF THE YEAR.
