Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

After Ronald D. Moore's mini series and 13 episodes have aired, it can be concluded that the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" remains safe from any attempted competition put forth by Ronald D. Moore. Moore is an "Anti-Imaginative Little Pea-Brain" who isn't even in the same ballpark with the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES." Even worse, Ronald D. Moore's LOW BUDGET doesn't even make him worthy to compete with the 1977 Saturday morning kid's series "Space Academy."
Everything that fans have loved about the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" remains UNCHALLENGED, UNDISTURBED, UNRIVALED, and NOT REMOVED by Ronald D. Moore. The "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" is an exercise in originality, where the survivors of the "12 Colonies of Man" wiped out by the Cylons take off across the stars searching for Earth, with strong ties to ancient Egypt. This brilliant premise was accentuated even further by the creative talents of the best people in the business: John Dykstra, Stu Phillips, Jean-Pierre Dorleac, and John E. Chilberg II. The Sci-Fi Channel's HIGH SCHOOL STAGE PLAY helmed by Ronald D. Moore has proven to be a creative FIZZLE. An ILL-FATED attempt at television production by a NEOPHYTE producer/writer (Ronald D. Moore) and a CREATIVELY DEFICIENT CORPORATION (NBC-Universal/Sci-Fi Channel.)
Stripping away the NASTY POLITICS which led to the STILL BIRTH of Ronald D. Moore's series, we have a television production that is no higher in quality than any other Sci-Fi Channel production. "Mansquito", "Man-Thing", "Epoch", "Dream Team", "Star Crap: Galactica", "John Edward." Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channels continues to CRAP OUT the MINDLESS PRODUCT in assembly line fashion that the viewing public has learned to avoid RELIGIOUSLY. Ronald D. Moore's series STUMBLES, LIMPS and gears up for another go round this month on Sci-Fi Channel. As if the FAILURE of his mini series and 13 episode series wasn't enough, Ronald D. Moore "takes a licking and keeps on ticking", no doubt due to the fact that he has NOWHERE ELSE TO GO if his EMPLOYMENT with Sci-Fi Channel were to suddenly come to an end. I guess the states in this country don't have enough money to set up an unemployment office for "HAS BEEN/HACK 'STAR TREK' WRITERS."
Ronald D. Moore's series FAILS & FAILS ALOT MORE.....And each time it FAILS, the more HELL BENT DETERMINED Universal/Sci-Fi Channel is to LASH OUT AT THE PUBLIC for not liking this series. We "just don't know what's good for us" as Universal/Sci-Fi Channel is all TOO FOND of saying. Unfortunately for Universal/Sci-Fi Channel, the public is ALL TOO AWARE of what is good for them, and the public knows damn well that SATISFYING the POLITICAL AGENDAS of Universal/Sci-Fi Channel is something they need about as much as another terrorist attack.
Ronald D. Moore's series LIMPS along into CANCELLATION OBLIVION, yet another victim of a television series MADE BY POLITICAL COMMITTEE...I can hear the Universal/Sci-Fi Channel executives now, (along with any marketing people who decided to eavesdrop).....
"Lets have the characters dress in present day clothing, with shirts & ties. Location shoots in Vancouver, a few CGI effects, with NO IMAGINATION ANYWHERE in this series.....Unappealing cast members, boring scripts." That should MILK the "Galactica" brand name for a bit longer mileage......."
Not only is this series NOT "Battlestar Galactica", it isn't even moderately tolerable television. The only "grand experiment" which arose from this MESS, is the "GRAND MISTAKE" of having a NEOPHYTE PRODUCER tackle his first solo project without having gone to producer's school FIRST. EXPERIENCE makes all of the difference in the world in the content of a television series, doesn't it?
What does the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" have to compete with, in Ronald D. Moore's series? Not a damn thing. The 1978 series doesn't even have to bat an eyelash towards this series. A present day "West Wing" drama with BIT & PIECES of hundreds of Science Fiction dramas that have come before. On the Sci-Fi Channel quality scale, which starts at -100, Ronald D. Moore's series doesn't even rank along side "Billy Boy Shatner's Full Moon Fright Night" or "Dream Team." Ronald D. Moore's series didn't just strip away any resemblance to "Battlestar Galactica" and replace it with Ronald D. Moore's ENCYCLOPEDIC KNOWLEDGE of Rick Berman's "Star Trek", it stripped away any WOULD BE UNIQUE IDENTITY it could have had for itself.
I think I speak for most fans of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" when I say that Ronald D. Moore DIDN'T EVEN PUT UP A FIGHT in trying to rival the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES." He KNEW he would fall WAY SHORT,...AND HE DID!!
