Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

We all know the old "Song & Dance" routine from NBC-Universal. Their "Star Crap: Galactica" series, (THREATENED INTO EXISTENCE by Ronald D. Moore), has amounted to being nothing more than a "Roger Corman B-Grade Exercise In Schlock" with CLICHES, STEREOTYPES, and THEFTS FROM OTHER SHOWS. In short, there is NOTHING PRESENT to praise in Ronald D. Moore's series. Yet, here we are on the eve of the week when Sci-Fi Channel's "Triple Threat Friday" (  ) premieres, and TV Guide ( ) along with most of the local tv magazine weeklies are falling all over themselves EJACULATING PRAISE all over Ronald D. Moore's series. It makes you wonder doesn't it? Since quite frankly, there isn't anything present in Moore's series to praise, it stands to reason that the entire NBC-Universal corporation IS IN BED with the entire "North American Print Media" in order to get them to shower praise on Ronald D. Moore's series. Is Bonnie Hammer SLEEPING with someone in the media? Is Bob Wright SLEEPING with someone in the media? One thing is certain: SOMEONE FROM NBC-UNIVERSAL IS SLEEPING WITH SOMEONE FROM OUR MEDIA in order to get this much praise showered on Ronald D. Moore's UNPRAISEWORTHY production.
NBC-Universal even threw in an additional MANDATE, an additional GUIDLELINE for our print media to follow when writing about Ronald D. Moore's series. That is, ATTACK THE "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" while ARTIFICIALLY PRAISING Ronald D. Moore's series. I guess NBC-Universal is one of those corporations that never learns the MORALITY LESSON involved in "BITING THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU." You see, merchandising from Ronald D. Moore's series ISN'T paying BOB WRIGHT'S SALARY. Merchandising from the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" IS paying BOB WRIGHT'S SALARY. NBC-Universal has made all of that money off of the DVD set from the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES", all of that money off of the Richard Hatch and Dirk Benedict action figures, all of that money off of the ICONIC SPACECRAFT DESIGNS/MODEL KITS from the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES", and books, calenders, and trading cards from the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES"; yet NBC-Universal turns around and ENDLESSLY ATTACKS the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" while marketing Ronald D. Moore's HUNK OF CRAP.
If this isn't a clear indication that Ronald D. Moore's series is on its DEATH BED, I don't know what is. I suppose since NBC-Universal is indeed stuck with a SUB-STANDARD PRODUCT in the form of Ronald D. Moore's series, all that they can do to try and SAVE IT is to SEXUALLY COERCE the entire NORTH AMERICAN PRINT MEDIA to shower praise on it. These are supposed to be mature and responsible journalists who have enough common sense to know where CRAP IS, and where CRAP ISN'T. Since some kind of COZY DEAL was arranged by NBC-Universal to cause our media to EJACULATE ALL OVER Ronald D. Moore's series, all of the SUPPOSED COMMON SENSE of these journalists went right out the window.
What makes it so easy to see through the FALSE PRAISE being showered on Moore's series by our EASILY BOUGHT MEDIA, is that there is simply nothing present in Moore's series to praise. A "STAR TREK TEMPLATE" laid over Ronald D. Moore's wafer thin skeleton of a premise in order to PROP IT UP; fattened out by RIPS & SWIPES from every known movie and tv show ever produced. If our media wasn't "Influenced" by NBC-Universal, would their praise of Moore's series be so.....CARTOONISH?
NBC-Universal has a FAILED SERIES on their hands. And they are HELL BENT DETERMINED not to acknowledge that sad fact. NBC-TV ran a three hour block of Ronald D. Moore's series last night. NO ONE WATCHED. How much more is it going to take for NBC-Universal to FINALLY ADMIT DEFEAT and acknowledge that Ronald D. Moore's IS NOT BEING ACCEPTED BY THE VIEWING AUDIENCE? NBC-Universal DIDN'T GET THE MESSAGE when GINO FAILED on Sci-Fi Channel. NBC-Universal didn't get the message when GINO FAILED on another network!! What's next? Does NBC-Universal want to see if GINO would FAIL on ABC, CBS, and FOX?
I think Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonnell have every right in the world to be FROWING in every publicity photo they give. They both will be FANNING OUT RESUMES VERY SOON!! Perhaps they already know it!!
