Sci-Fi Channel's "Triple Threat Friday" premieres tonight, the weekly block of morose programming that the public makes plans to AVOID. Specifically, Sci-Fi Channel has pulled out all of the stops to try and generate interest for Ronald D. Moore's "Star Shit: Galactica" series." And what a menu of "horseshit" Sci-Fi Channel has whipped up!!
1) A "brainwashed" Richard Hatch, (showing no shame in the fact that his individuality, private thoughts, free speech, and
critical opinions of Ronald D. Moore have been successfully silenced by NBC-Universal waving a paycheck in front of him),
continues to be the "hollow zombie" that bribery has turned him into, and toots the horn of Ronald D. Moore on many less
than legitimate web sites across the Internet. I know the real Richard Hatch is still alive within that hollow shell somewhere,
the trick is to somehow find him.
2) Our media can be bribed by the Bush Administration, and by God; by the NBC-Universal propaganda machine as well!! If you
wave bribery money in front of any magazine or newspaper journalist, he/she will say whatever the hell you want them to
say!! "Ronald D. Moore is wonderful!!"...so says our bribed journalists!!! "'Starshit: Galactica' is compelling television!!"....so
says our bribed journalists!!!
3) NBC-Universal is so desperate for viewers to watch "Starshit: Galactica", they were even running commercials on CBS-TV!!
Never before in the history of television has a corporation FOUGHT LIKE HELL to keep a FAILED television series on the air!!
What should have been CANCELLED a good year ago continues to limp along on LIFE SUPPORT. The CBS ads will go down
in history as the most DESPERATE ACT YET of NBC-Universal in trying to keep this DISASTER on the air!!
NBC-Universal wants it both ways. After PISSING AWAY the fanbase of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES", they still pursue and COVET their viewership!! While still ATTACKING the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" in their NEVER ENDING PUBLICITY CAMPAIGN for Ronald D. Moore's series. NBC-Universal either has the WORST MARKETERS in the industry working for them, or the entire corporation is JUST PLAIN RETARDED.
Ronald D. Moore's series is in TROUBLE, and no amount of SPERM EJACULATING from Richard Hatch, (or two bit journalists who could care less) will be able to save Ronald D. Moore's series. Like most of the SUB-STANDARD programming on Skiffy, "Starshit: Galactica" eternally lumbers along, looking for viewers it never found and never will.
Ronald D. Moore is not the Messiah, but BRIBED JOURNALISTS would claim otherwise. For a fairly routine and "Ho-Hum" ex-Star Trek writer, Ronald D. Moore certainly gets the praise HE NEVER EARNED, doesn't he? Detaching the UMBILICAL CORD that keeps Ronald D. Moore fat and paid within the NBC-Universal corporation, we have a NO TALENT HAS BEEN whipping up WARMED OVER "Star Trek" on a "West Wing" hot plate. NBC-Universal needed no logical reason to attach the "Battlestar Galactica" brand name to this MESS other than the standard CORPORATE AMERICA REPLY: "Well, we own it. So we can do whatever the 'Fuck' we want to do with it." LOGIC not being a necessary component in their reasons for doing so!!
So, as the "Marketing Exhausted Universal Executives", and "Brainwashed Richard Hatch" sit back tonight in order to assess whether or not their VERBAL LOVEMAKING over the Internet to Ronald D. Moore's series will yield something other than a 0.5 rating, we can rest in the knowledge that Ronald D. Moore's series will still be the apple of NBC-Universal's eye even if its ratings do not yield sexual gratification equal to its ON-LINE MARKETING!!
