Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

You gotta love the "Low Budget, Vancouver Mentality" Ronald D. Moore and David Eick are always in. They have now put a present day automobile into a recent episode. David Eick agonized over this problem for about two seconds when he said:
David Eick: "We asked ourselves, 'what would a mode of transportation look like on Caprica?' Finally Ron and I decided just to put a present day automobile into the episode."
Much like Sci-Fi Channel, (that NEVER had the imagination to decide on one, coherent identity); Ronald D. Moore and David Eick's "Star Crap: Galactica" series RICOCHETS all over the place in NEVER having a singular identity for more than two seconds. One moment, IT'S "STAR TREK",.....the next moment, IT'S "TERMINATOR",......the next moment, IT'S "INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS",......the next moment, IT'S A PRESENT DAY SOAP OPERA......and now, IT IS "MAD MAX".........
David Eick must have been watching "Mad Max" and "Road Warrior" a couple months back and said to Moore:
David Eick: "You know what? Wouldn't it be cool, A CHEAP COP-OUT, and TOTALLY ANTI-IMAGINATIVE to have a PRESENT DAY AUTOMOBILE in our series? We'll RENT A USED CAR and expect the audience to buy my ABSURD EXPLANATION that a civilization thousands of light years from Earth somehow PARALLEL DEVELOPED 20th-21st Century automobiles."
Ronald D. Moore: "Good idea!! It will take me back to my "STAR TREK" DAYS when I wrote all of those EARTH LIKE planet stories!! Gene Roddenberry would be so proud of me!!"
David Eick: "Careful, Ronny boy; we're supposed to be doing 'Battlestar Galactica', remember?"
Ronald D. Moore: "FUCK THAT ANTIQUATED SALES PITCH!! Now that I have a steady paycheck coming in, I'm DOING 'Star Trek' for Sci-Fi Channel, GOT IT??"
Removing the "Battlestar Galactica" brand name from this SHIT OF THEIRS, what are we left with? A contemporary drama using SCIENCE FICTION CLICHES as a GIMMICK!! Calling Martin Sheen!!!....We need you on the Vancouver soundstages to be the "Battlestar Galactica" President!! This is "West Wing",......ISN'T IT??
