Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

Not that Sci-Fi Channel is the most prestigious business to try and build a career upon. Ronald D. Moore has never broken into the major ranks of Hollywood for a reason. He simply has NO TALENT to be an "A-List Anything" in either the movie or tv industry. Scum like Ronald D. Moore have to do whatever it takes to get a paycheck coming in. Unfortunately, the only way Ronald D. Moore could put food on the table was to HIJACK the "Battlestar Galactica" brand name and continue cranking out the WARMED OVER "STAR TREK" CRAP he will always be known for. For Ronald D. Moore, whatever career he has wanted starts and ends with Sci-Fi Channel, hardly an organization anyone should be proud of working for. All of the Sci-Fi Channel original programming GETS ITS ASS KICKED in the ratings by routine cable shows, and "Spongebob" cartoons. In the final analysis, one has to wonder if it was really worth all of the effort Ronald D. Moore invested in fighting for this gig. Moore promised investors and the CROOKS at Sci-Fi Channel a "weekly version of Hamlet" set in outer space, yet ultimately delivered "Andromeda" level HOKUM no more memorable than an episode of "Mutant X" on DVD.
Ronald D. Moore's "Star Trek-esque" series using the STOLEN "Battlestar Galactica" brand name fits right in with all of the other FORGETTABLE FARE that tried to pass itself off as Science Fiction during the past few years. The "X-Men" RIP-OFF SERIES "Mutant X" went through all of the "X-Men" motions, without the originality of Stan Lee's creation. "Andromeda" was yet another thinly disguised "Star Trek" sequel series (like Ronald D. Moore's "Star Shit: Galactica") that had you forgetting what you just watched the moment the episode was over with.
Ronald D. Moore has apparently stepped down somewhat during the production of the additional episodes of his first season. (I call a 24 episode order or higher a first season). Regardless, there has been no improvement in the quality of this series,; from production design to acting. Oh well, right? Ronald D. Moore got exactly what he set out to get. A shaky, temporary job with the hardly prestigious Sci-Fi Channel which will put mashed potatoes and gravy on his kitchen table for only so long. What Ronald D. Moore delivered in return could hardly be called a "fair swap." He went into this thing with such notions as "entertaining an audience" being the farthest thing from his mind. You see, Ronald D. Moore had this idea in the back of his LOBOTOMIZED MIND of doing "Deep Space Nine" alot better than how he thought it was executed in the first place. Perhaps this was the secondary motivating force for Ronald D. Moore in FORCING HIS WAY into this gig, right behind trying to build a career with the UNTRUSTWORTHY and FINANCIALLY LAUGHABLE Sci-Fi Channel. Unfortunately for Ronald D. Moore and the FEW VIEWERS who watch his SHIT, Moore thought it would be REALLY NEAT to do his IMPROVED VERSION of "Deep Space Nine" while USING THE "BATTLESTAR GALACTICA" BRAND NAME. My question is, why couldn't "MOORE-ON" just go off somewhere and do his "New & Improved Version" of "Deep Space Nine" without having to HIJACK and SOIL the "Battlestar Galactica" brand name in order to do it? Of course, judging from the contents of GINO; the only way Ronald D. Moore would have SPRUCED UP "Deep Space Nine" if he had been given the chance, was to have scenes of ENDLESS SEX with REALLY POOR SCRIPTWRITING. So, at least Paramount Pictures had the WISDOM to not give "NEOPHYTE RON MOORE" the opportunity to TRAIN WRECK "Deep Space Nine." As we all know, the same can NEVER be said for the Universal/Sci-Fi Channel corporation. This SHIT BAG CORPORATION is ALWAYS looking for NEW WAYS to TRAIN WRECK their properties, with "Battlestar Galactica" (of course) always being at the top of their list.
WHAT BETTER WAY TO TRAIN WRECK THE "BATTLESTAR GALACTICA" BRAND NAME THAN TO HIRE RONALD D. MOORE TO DO IT?
Ronald D. Moore's HIJACKING of the "Galactica" brand name shows just how LITTLE CLOUT Ronald D. Moore has in the entire entertainment industry. I'll be generous and say that Ronald D. Moore may have a FRACTION of more clout than Glen A. Larson does. In the almost 20 years Ronald D. Moore has been in this business, he has NEVER come up with an ORIGINAL IDEA for a television series. He went straight from the "Star Trek" brand name to the "Battlestar Galactica" brand name, with both ventures not benefitting from his presence. If the only way Ronald D. Moore can get jobs in this industry, is to ride the coat tails of PRE-EXISTING BRAND NAMES; then this method of his is not going to last him very long. At what point will Ronald D. Moore be called upon to come up with an original idea for a television series, and he won't be able to do it? This day is going to arrive for Ronald D. Moore sooner or later. And though he could care less now, with Sci-Fi Channel STILL FIGHTING TOOTH & NAIL to try and keep his series from being CANCELLED; this inevitable day will arrive with FORMER EMPLOYER Sci-Fi Channel NO LONGER COVERING HIS BACK.
