Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

Is it safe to say that the entire "Anti-Galactica Conspiracy" with the Ron Moore production leading the charge has reached the same levels as "Watergate" in the 1970's, Whitewater in the 1990's, and "Enron" in the 2000's? You bet!! What catchy little name can we attach to the "Anti-Galactica Conspiracy" at Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel that is short, sweet, and accurately describes it? I came up with:
"RONNY-GATE"
Why? The name accurately embodies Ronalald D. Moore's own contempt, arrogance, and hatred of the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series. Ronald D. Moore himself currently embodies all that is wrong with Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel's ownership of the "Battlestar Galactica" property. Moore's "Trekkie Star: Galactica" production in particular incarnates and represents a failed management administration at Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel that repeatedly makes HORRIFIC MANAGEMENT DECISIONS ON A DAILY BASIS with the "Battlestar Galactica" property. Perhaps more than anything else, "Ronny-Gate" perfectly labels the inharmonious process by which negative forces converged and came together at this particular moment in time to bury any hope of RESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT for the "Battlestar Galactica" property. Think about it. Universal/Sci-Fi Channel has hated the "Battlestar Galactica" property from day one. Yet, they wanted to devise a way of retaining ownership of the brand name without actually utilizing its contents. In walks Ronald D. Moore. Moore is just itching for his first solo producing project. Moore, disgruntled and frustrated over the way "Star Trek-The Next Generation" turned out, wanted his own project that he could use as a laboratory experiment in fixing the problems he felt "Star Trek-The Next Generation" had. Universal/Sci-Fi Channel hands Ronald D. Moore the "Battlestar Galactica" brand name, so that he can go off to Vancouver and fix the problems of "Star Trek-The Next Generation" in Moore's "Great Laboratory Experiment." Multiple birds with one stone are killed with this business deal between Universal/Sci-Fi Channel and Ronald D. Moore. Universal/Sci-Fi Channel gets to retain ownership of "Battlestar Galactica" minus the contents of the series itself that Universal has always hated so much. Ronald D. Moore gets to fix the problems he felt "Star Trek-The Next Generation" had. George Lucas won't be making any phone calls to Universal as "Galactica" no longer resembles "Star Wars." Of course, when doing this trade-off, "Galactica" inadverdently resembled "Star Trek" instead.
I can go on for hours about all that I think is involved in "Ronny-Gate." In all honesty, I don't even think my board would be large enough to hold all of the information in this speculation of mine.
