Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

By the time the 25th Anniversary Battlestar Galactica convention known as "Galacticon" was scheduled to be held, Universal Studios had already said "No" to any continuation production based on Battlestar Galactica, and had instead greenlit Ronald D. Moore's PIECE OF SHIT known as GINO. Those who would have attended "Galacticon" quite naturally declined to do so as what would have been the point in attending this convention which wouldn't have been celebrating the greenlighting of any continuation production? By the time "Galacticon" had arrived, Battlestar Galactica fans had had more than enough of Universal Studios ENDLESS PROCRASTINATIONS, ENDLESS INTERNAL POLITICS, ENDLESS CORPORATE HOSTILITIES directed against the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES", and ENDLESS BAD DECISION MAKING which continues to run the Battlestar Galactica property INTO THE GROUND this very day.
Universal Studios KNEW DAMN WELL that their DELIBERATE MISMANAGEMENT of Battlestar Galactica would lead to LOW ATTENDANCE FIGURES at "Galacticon", which is why they agreed to allow the convention to take place literally across the street from them. THEY KNEW DAMN WELL that not greenlighting a continuation production, and greenlighting Ronald D. Moore's PIECE OF SHIT INSTEAD, would cause the attendance figures at "Galacticon" to be in the mere hundreds, instead of thousands. This in turn WOULD ALLOW Universal Studios to turn around and say:
Universal Studios: "You see?...You see?....There really aren't alot of Battlestar Galactica fans out there as we have been claiming all along!!"
I really feel sorry for Richard Hatch. Over the past several years he has been wasting his time trying to reason with a CORRUPT CORPORATION that is HELL BENT DETERMINED to continue MISMANAGING Battlestar Galactica from now until the end of time. GINO DID NOT NEED TO BE MADE, just as Universal Studios DOES NOT NEED to continue owning Battlestar Galactica. Since Universal Studios continues to have a VINDICTIVE BUG UP ITS ASS about this property however, we can continue to look forward to all of the ASSHOLES and JAG-OFFS at NBC-Universal/Sci-Fi Channel CONTINUING to SLAM THE DOOR on Bryan Singer, Tom DeSanto, and anyone else who would like to revive the THIRD LARGEST Science Fiction franchise of all time.
The FACT that Universal Studios HASN'T LIFTED A FINGER to even offer a worthy substitute to the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" means that this SHIT-BAG CORPORATION will continue to PISS INTO THE DEPTHS of "Lowest Common Denominator Banality" with MINDLESS CRAP polluting our airwaves such as "Monk", "GINO", "CSI: Whatever", "Blind Date", and anything else Universal Studios can manage to CRAP out of their MENTALLY IMPAIRED IMAGINATIONS. I for one look forward to the CANCELLATION of "GINO" and the reality that Universal Studios will have yet another PIECE OF SHIT tv show to take its place. The DEBACLE that was "Galacticon" was yet another opportunity to see Universal Studios making a complete ASS out of themselves and further alienating themselves from the very public who could be giving them MONEY.
