Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

Stealth marketing is a NASTY ASS little invention of the 21st Century. It's where EMPLOYEES of a corporation pose as fans of a SUB-STANDARD PRODUCT offered by their corporation, and BUY PRAISE under the heading of NEWS in such periodicals as TV Guide, Variety, and Newsweek in order to convey the ILLUSION even further that the SUB-STANDARD PRODUCT possesses even an ounce of merit.
In the case of GINO, the MAGNITUDE of the stealth marketing attached to it has been unprecedented. This is because the more SUB-STANDARD the product is, the more necessary it is for STEALTH MARKETING to prop up the SUB-STANDARD PRODUCT with UNREALISTIC PRAISE. Stripping away the stealth marketing, GINO has turned out to be an UNEVENTFUL, piece of BROADCASTING TRASH that has highlighted the PROFESSIONAL DEFICIENCIES of Ronald D. Moore. Moore has revealed himself to be a LAZY AS HELL television producer who at the very least, COULDN'T EVEN hire a competent production crew to crank out some original SETS, COSTUMES, and PROPS. At the most, Ronald D. Moore SAFELY TREADS WATER on established "STAR TREK" cliches, gimmicks, CASTNG STUNTS, and scripts.
Ronald D. Moore didn't bother toting along a new "Colorforms" set for his first solo, producing outing; where he should have. Instead, Ronald D. Moore grabbed the producing "Colorforms" set from RICK BERMAN, where a MINOR REARRANGING of characters, ideas, and scripts can double for the next "Star Trek" sequel series; in this case calling it "Battlestar Galactica." Did television REALLY NEED another "Seven of Nine" clone? Did television really need another "Star Trek-esque" ensemble cast of GRIM FACED LOSERS facing the unknowns of BARGAIN BASEMENT PRODUCED outer space? Adding CONTEMPT to what Ronald D. Moore had already done THOUSANDS OF TIMES before for "Star Trek", Moore couldn't even assemble a physically attractive cast for his first solo effort as a producer. Edward James Olmos is NO FUN to look at, neither is Mary McDonnell. Katee Sackhoff mutates into a blonde haired Arnold Schwarzenneger with each passing week. GINO's resident SEX-POT Tricia Helfer obviously isn't the most atteactive babe Hollywood has to offer. I'm surprised Moore settled for such middle of the road plainness in sexuality. If such physical unattractiveness is Moore's idea of "reality", where does this leave the MILLIONS of ORDINARY PEOPLE in the world who are MORE physically attractive than Ronald D. Moore's cast? I'll cut Moore some slack and say that the PHYSICAL UNATTRACTIVENESS of his cast is a GROSS EXAGGERATION of an ordinary persons "reality."
Ronald D. Moore didn't bother nailing down a definite premise for his series, which allows him INFINITE OPPORTUNITIES to LEAP FROG from one PREMISE to the next week to week. In a sense, Moore's series is an ANTHOLOGY. One week a SOAP OPERA, the next week "Star Trek", the next week "Terminator", the next week a FAR LEFT attack on Bush. It would have been nice for Moore to ask for COPYRIGHT PERMISSION to use other people's material in his series, huh?
In light of all this, the print media and the Internet are finding things in Moore's series to praise? What exactly? If Sci-Fi Channel didn't PURCHASE this praise beforehand, and there was no money SLIPPED UNDER THE TABLE; what exactly would the print media and Internet have found to praise? NOT A DAMN THING. There is simply NOTHING in Moore's series to praise. Ronald D. Moore took an AMATEUR STAB at every television CLICHE that was already done by people MORE TALENTED than he was in the industry, and FELL FLAT ON HIS FACE. Gene Roddenberry "Boldly Went" a HELL OF ALOT BETTER than Ronald D. Moore ever did. The Glen Larson-Leslie Stevens script of Galactica's pilot episode (1978) STILL KICKS Ronald D. Moore's ASS. James Cameron's "Terminators" KICKS Ron Moore's ASS. The 1978 "Cylons" KICK Ron Moore's ASS. Ronald D. Moore's LIMITED STAR TREK IMAGINATION lands him in the MENTAL STAGNATION DOG HOUSE every single time!!
Universal/Sci-Fi Channel hired Ronald D. Moore to reimagine "Battlestar Galactica."
RONALD D. MOORE REIMAGINED "STARFLEET COMMAND" INSTEAD..........
