Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

Early reviews have indicated that the first and second episodes of Ronald D. Moore's "Trekkie Star: Galactica" series suffers from a low budget. "Trekkie Star: Galactica" may be the most expensive series in Sci-Fi Channel's history, but when you compare that budget to the average budget of a series on network television, we're talking a Saturday morning kid's show here. One review in particular on "Stallion_Cornell's Useless Board" noted not only the low budget, but Ronald D. Moore's style of writing that has kept him pretty much unknown to the masses for two decades.
Ronald D. Moore has remained unknown to the masses after the broadcast of his mini series and first two episodes of his 13 episode series for a reason. The idiot cannot write. Oh, anybody can crank out a script and claim that it is William Shakespeare. It is something else entirely to be able to WRITE. That is, to have the ability to please the vast majority of the population with sparkling characters, situations that take on a life all of their own, and a television series that has limitless, dramatic potential. This is why Ronald D. Moore's would be career will never see the light of day beyond insignificant and forgettable "Sci-Fi Channel." Ronald D. Moore has crafted a television series that is so GROUNDED in "Star Trek Cliches" and his own FINITE ABILITY to entertain an audience, Ronald D. Moore will be bouncing from odd job to odd job for the rest of his life, ultimately ending up right back at his Mommy and Daddy's "Pig Farm." Ronald D. Moore's personal opinion of what entertainment is does not coincide with what the vast majority of the population thinks it is. Moore thinks entertainment is depressing the hell out of the audience with a BORING TELEVISION SERIES rooted in "Star Trek" and "September 11th References" that has every KNOWN CLICHE to the audience in it. Maybe this is one of the many reasons why "Trekkie Star: Galactica" is hiding out in England instead of being broadcast in the United States.
Now we get back to the issue of the BUDGET that the first two episodes of this 13 episode series SEEMS TO NOT HAVE. Multiple reviews have indicated that there is a great deal NOT SHOWN in these first two episodes. Just as there was a great deal NOT SHOWN in the mini series. Events merely spoken of by characters instead of being actually shown. If your budget does not allow you to show anything, why bother to film anything at all? At this early date, Ronald D. Moore not only has a great many things stacked against him and his production, but what is stacked against him seems to be mounting:
1) The 13 episode series has a low budget.
2) Ron Moore's LIMITED ABILITIES to entertain an audience as a writer is not helping matters any.
3) His entire production was built on an extremely fragile foundation of "STAR TREK CLICHES" and "September 11th BOREDOM and DEPRESSION." Someone failed to tell Ronald D. Moore that you cannot entertain an audience when one of the things you base your PLAGIARISTIC production on, is the most tragic and devastating terrorist attack in United States history. Who would want to watch a television production based on September 11th (except those extremely DERANGED Universal Studios executives)? NO ONE IN THE VIEWING PUBLIC.
4) By nature, Ronald D. Moore is a "Star Trek" writer. And though he would vehemently deny it, "Star Trek" is all that he is capable of writing. Endless variations on established "Star Trek" CLICHES.
5) It isn't a good sign that the only ones supporting Ron Moore's production, are those DERANGED EXECUTIVES at Universal Studios/Sci-Fi Channel. It isn't enough that the corporation making the series is supporting it. You also have to have GENUINE SUPPORT from the public domain in LARGE NUMBERS, which Ronald D. Moore HAS NONE. So, I think it's time that Universal/Sci-Fi Channel (as well as Ronald D. Moore) give up this FANTASY NOTION of theirs, that they are loved by the viewing public, and accept the REALITY that "Trekkie Star: Galactica" IS HATED BY THE VIEWING PUBLIC.
6) The 13 episode series is also suffering from LOW RATINGS.
