Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

Pick any particular aspect of the way Universal Studios conducts itself business wise, and you will discover a HORRIFIC WORK ETHIC that has kept "Battlestar Galactica" DEAD for 27 years, and REPEATEDLY yields classic television series from Universal Studios vaults being released on DVD with all of the visual quality of a UHF television broadcast from the 1970's. Perhaps more than anything else, Universal Studios operates under policies and procedures that simply ARE NOT WORKING. There are those within Universal Studios who would argue that the policies they operate under suit them just fine, but if the FAILED POLICES and FAILED MANAGEMENT within Universal Studios which led to the existence of GINO and "UHF RECEPTION TV-DVD RELEASES" is somehow making Universal Studios shit loads of cash, then Universal Studios is the one and only business on Earth where IDIOCY in all departments of upper level management has been successful.
Universal Studios is paying the price right now for their FAILED MANAGEMENT which led to the existence of GINO. They have had to take on the ADDITIONAL EXPENSE of hiring STEALTH MARKETERS to PATROL THE INTERNET 24 hours a day / 7 days a week to openly ARGUE with the public over the POOR QUALITY PRODUCT which is GINO. If this studio had simply expressed one ounce of intelligence in their management of "Battlestar Galactica" in the first place, none of these ENDLESS B-Board wars would be going on right now, from Ragnar Anchorage, to Cornell's little shit hole. So, Universal Studios created a MESS for themselves that they CAN'T CLEAN UP. Universal Studios ONLY OPTION (other than openly admitting they are a SHIT-BAG corporation) is to treat the public like CRAP via the further existence of GINO, their continued and DELIBERATE MISMANAGEMENT of the "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES", and their continued trend of releasing classic television series on DVD"s which have the visual quality of a UHF broadcast.
Richard Hatch once stated that the further you go up in management within Universal Studios, the more DEAD BRAIN CELLS you encounter. I think the DEAD BRAIN CELLS within Universal Studios management starts alot lower than the WHITE COLLAR MANAGEMENT. The IDIOCY begins at the MID-MANAGEMENT LEVEL, where television programming is the HARDEST HIT. It is here that you will find the FAILED MANAGEMENT and the FAILED POLICIES of the Sci-Fi Channel. A channel that can't even tell the truth in a simple press release shouldn't be in business at all. If the Sci-Fi Channel were GUTTED tomorrow, there would be NO TEARS over the ABRUPT DEATH of this network. Bonnie Hammer has PROVEN that the same FAILED PROGRAMMING POLICIES she applied to the "Lifetime" network, and "Saturday afternoon wrestling", DO NOT MIX WELL with Science Fiction programming. Thus, we have a FAILED, BACKWATER CABLE NETWORK erroneously titled "Sci-Fi Channel", which was just last night showing a rerun of the "Hitcher." This has AS LITTLE TO DO WITH Science Fiction programming as "GINO", "Epoch", "Cape Fear", "Mansquito", the "Flintstones", and "Field of Dreams."
Universal Studios has policies and procedures for business operations that might look good on paper, and may yield a THEORETICALLY good ROI, but when these policies and procedures are actually implemented, Sci-Fi Channel ends up being a HACK CABLE NETWORK that is JUST BARELY GETTING BY. "GINO" ends up being the WORST TELEVISION SERIES IN HISTORY. Television DVD releases end up having a SNOWY, UHF-esque picture quality. The "REAL 1978 GALACTICA SERIES" REMAINS DEAD.
