Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

It's the oldest trick in the book for the former producers and writers of the various "Star Trek" productions:
BOOK FORMER "STAR TREK" CAST MEMBERS IN YOUR PRODUCTIONS TO TRY AND BOOST RATINGS.
Rick Berman has a ratings disaster on his hands with "Star Trek: Enterprise." There is nothing new about "Enterprise." No new or fresh ideas. Just the same old "CLICHED, WARMED OVER, STAR TREK NONSENSE" we have seen on our television screens since 1987. Thus, the ratings of "Enterprise" have been sinking and sinking. What does Rick Berman do to try and remedy the problem? Does he get to the root of what the real problem is? That the show was poorly conceived in the first place? Nope!! Berman just tries to put a Band-Aid on his HUNK OF GARBAGE by booking Brent Spiner to do a guest appearance. Gee, how original. Rick Berman also tried this old trick by getting Leonard Nimoy and James Doohan to do guest appearances on "Star Trek: The Next Generation." Did it work? Nope!! The ratings pretty much stayed the same regardless. In the case of "Enterprise", Berman is resorting to the old "FAMILY TREE TRICK" by booking Brent Spiner. Spiner will play the Great Great Grandfather or whatever of "Data" from "Star Trek: The Next Generation." How BORING and PREDICTABLE.
In the case of Ronald D. Moore, he has a RATINGS DISASTER on his hands with his "Trekkie Star: Galactica" production. Again, is Moore trying to get to the root of what the real problem is with his show? That it was POORLY CONCEIVED in the first place? Nope!! Like DADDY Rick Berman, Moore is hoping that by putting a band-aid on the problem by getting Richard Hatch to do a guest appearance, it will somehow fix all of his shows problems, and somehow grant his show some legitimacy in the eyes of the "Galactica" fans world wide who hate him and his show. It won't work, but that won't stop Moore from trying anyway.
In the case of both of these shows, the only real solution is to CANCEL BOTH SHOWS, FIRE RICK BERMAN and RONALD D. MOORE; as well as DUMP the sets and props from both shows into the nearest, convenient, LAND FILL.
