Life could be this beautiful without NBC-TV in it.

With Bonnie Hammer, programming plans can be discarded at a moments notice with as much FLAIR as a "Taco Bell" order being tossed into the trash can. What happened to Bonnie Hammer's BOLD PLANS of having seven nights of original programming? I'LL TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED:
1) Bonnie Hammer can't keep one of her programs on the air long enough to guarantee even ONE NIGHT of original programming.
2) Somewhere along the way, Bonnie Hammer discovered that it was easier, and LAZIER, for her to just RAID the USA FILM VAULTS for CHEESY Universal Studios movies THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SCIENCE FICTION.
3) Bonnie Hammer's "Saturday Night Turd Fest At The Movies" is easier to produce than seven nights of original programming. Just ask Bonnie Hammer's "Bargain Basement Film Crew" in Vancouver about "FRANKENFISH." It's easier to film a killer fish and other forgettable, weekly movies than making seven nights of original, quality programming, isn't it?
4) Earlier this year, Bonnie Hammer announced a slate of at least a dozen shows. Not one of these shows (including "Dead Lawyers") were ever heard from again.
5) Bonnie Hammer is too lopsided in her thinking to even begin the attempt of putting seven nights of programming on the air. Hammer concentrates funding on one or two particular shows (Stargate: SG1, Stargate: Atlantis) and then blows the rest of her money on those STUPID SATURDAY NIGHT MOVIES. Bonnie Hammer was SO SCRAPPED FOR CASH that she had to CON "Sky One" into financing "Trekkie Star: Galactica." In this case, Hammer rammed into unwelcome existence a tv show SHE COULDN'T EVEN PAY FOR.
6) Erratic, sporadic scheduling of programs and reality shows work best for Hammer. These reality shows can easily be shuffled around the schedule and CANCELLED at a moment's notice. A consistent schedule of seven night programming would work against Hammer's LIMITED FUNDING.
The Sci-Fi Channel remains as it has always been:
AN INSTANTLY FORGETTABLE, LOW BUDGET CABLE OUTLET THAT HAS MORE INFOMERCIALS ON THE AIR THAN ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING.
